Our founder Dr. Jodi Cabrera has been licensed as a Clinical Psychologist since 2005. She has extensive experience providing therapy through managed care, community mental health and private practice settings. She wrote her doctoral paper researching issues related to Victims of Domestic Violence. Dr. Jodi has worked extensively with adults, adolescents and children.
Dr. Jodi states that the best part of her Job as a Psychologist is helping her clients achieve the healthy changes they want to make in their lives whether that is controlling panic, shaping the courage to return to school, moving on after a painful loss, losing weight, recovering from trauma or more effectively managing a serious mental illness or addiction.
Dr. Jodi likes to say, "I love being present and helping my clients change and grow. To coach them as they develop healthy habits, to support them as they face and confront painful memories find meaning from the pain as they move forward in hope. That is my greatest honer and victory as a therapist."
